as for my runs... weeeehoooo... car felt great... octavian brought his street slicks for me so i ran about 22 degrees of timing and 24 psi boost... and... (as some witnessed and have already heard) .. I ran the 11's all night, I was spinning the tires all the way through 1st and over half way through 2nd... right out of the box, 4 th run on slicks, ran an 11.99 @ 115.9mph.. then finally running my fastest time of... wait, there's a little story coming... this 5.0 mustang was next to me in grid and I heard his buddy telling him..".. dude he's got 11.65 on the window and he's on slicks bigger than yours.." and he was looking at me... apparently they sized up the grid and we were going to run together... soooo... we end up lining up together and i'm thinking "sweet, this is going to be a good run." we line up after some hefty tire roastings, lights flash away, he get a .006 reaction time and i get a .071 with and unknown 60' for him and a 1.751 60' for me (I was sleepin a bit-but still nice). he gets me by a car, i'm on his bumper like a rapid dog chasing cars... 7500rpms, BAM! hit second gear, third gear, I start creepin up on him, fourth gear... cars swayin and rockin cuz the 9psi tire pressure is making the car loose... still runnin hard, he's out in front by a car... he runs an 11.694 @ 115.92 mph and i run a 11.794 @ 118.62... holy crap was that a nice run... after words, we end up talkin and he said that he got out of the hole real hard and thinks he ran like an 1.55 60' and was just as stoaked as i was about the nice clean run we both had! All I have to say is that I was just ripped happy that I ran an 11.79 on street slicks, on a wednesday night with no VHT on the track...
